Startup Scaleup

IoT pre-accelerator focused on providing the practical knowledge and advice needed to build a successful IoT startup, such as – hands-on help on prototyping, licensing, access to mass manufacturers and IoT specific fundraising as well as an access to a pool of international mentors, including Philip Moynagh, Vice President, Internet of Things Group at Intel, Dan Marom, crowdfunding expert, Vinton G. Cerf, Vice President of Google, and Jerry Yang, investor & founder of Hardware Club. Lithuanian batches featured such startups as Nanoavionics, Sidewalk, TableAir, Factobotics, Connecty and SVA.

Startup Scaleup ran two batches of 6-month parallel IoT pre-accelerators in Lithuania (Vilnius), Spain (Madrid), Ireland (Dublin), and The Netherlands (Zoetermeer).


Achievements

  • Attracted financing of 10 mln EUR through various seed funding sources, such as venture capital funds, Business angel networks, public financing – Horizon 2020 and other.
  • 15 startups of each batch were taken to international IoT Conferences (IoT World Europe @ Dublin and Connected @ Paris ) to pitch to investors and secured places in the finals.
  • Received over 500 applications to participate in the Pre-Accelerator from 17 countries worldwide.
  • Attracted fleet of 60 topic-specific mentors, over 40 business angels, and 50 venture capital investors.
  • Received support from venture capital funds, Startup Wise Guys accelerator, incubators in Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, Madrid, Dublin, Zoetermeer, Amsterdam, and other.
