Baltic Sea partners launch collaboration in Dalarna, Sweden

The IRIS Work Package for management capacity was launched 24-25 of January at Dalarna Science Park in Dalarna in collaboration with Gdansk Entrepreneurship Foundation, DESY – Deutsches Electronen-Synchrotron and Kaunas Science and Technology Park. Management Capacity is one of the main pillars of the IRIS-project and the activities are based on peer reviews. The 14 project partners have been divided into 4 workgroups to perform the reviews. During the project, the partners in the workgroup will visit each other, getting to know each partner’s services, their organisation and tools. IRIS Project launched in Dalarna

The Interreg project IRIS is in full swing and started off with a hugely successful Kick Off in Dalarna, Sweden. 32 participants from 14 incubators in 10 countries, gathered in the little village of Tällberg in Dalarna, Sweden, for a three day Kick Off Conference to launch the Baltic Sea Region Interreg Project “IRIS”. IRIS stands for “Improved Results in Innovation Support – transnational exchange and joint development between innovation infrastructure organisations” – a vision which the Kick-Off participants truly embraced. Kick-off IRIS

As of Autumn 2017, the project IRIS has joined the BSR Stars family. IRIS will improve and strengthen management and support capacity in Baltic Sea Region incubator organisations. On the 23rd – 25th of October the project will arrange a kick-off event which will take place in Tällberg, Sweden.
